Vice President, Internal Audit

Greater Boston, MA Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Internal Audit to lead the global internal audit function and provide independent, objective assurance and advisory services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a risk-based annual audit plan, leading financial, operational, compliance, and technology audits, and partnering with executive leadership and the Audit Committee to enhance governance, risk management, and internal controls. This senior leadership role requires a strong background in internal audit, public accounting, or risk management, with a focus on building and leading high-performing global teams. The VP, Internal Audit will also be instrumental in evaluating the design and effectiveness of internal controls, supporting continuous improvement, and leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance audit quality and efficiency. Applicants for the Vice President, Internal Audit position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in internal audit, public accounting, or risk management, including senior leadership responsibility, is required. The role demands a candidate with a strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and audit standards, as well as proven experience in leading SOX compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have direct exposure to Audit Committee and Board reporting, and the executive presence to engage with CFO- and CEO-level stakeholders. A collaborative, process-focused, and adaptable leadership style is essential, as is the ability to operate independently while effectively partnering across functions and geographies.
