The Company is in search of a strategic and hands-on VP of Finance to take on an executive leadership role with a focus on influencing business strategy, driving financial performance, and optimizing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting, including leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. This role also involves overseeing the month-end close, accounting operations, and inventory accounting, as well as managing banking relationships, lenders, auditors, and external partners. The VP of Finance will be expected to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, drive process improvements, and lead and mentor the accounting and finance team. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance and accounting leadership experience is required, with a strong expertise in the relevant areas. Experience in a privately held, entrepreneurial, or family-owned business environment is highly valued, and asset-based lending experience is a plus. The role demands a proven ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to both executive leadership and non-financial stakeholders, as well as strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at combining high-level strategic decision-making with active involvement in day-to-day accounting and operational finance.
