Associate Vice President, CAM Tax Officer

The Company is seeking a CAM Tax Officer to join their Charitable Asset Management tax team. The successful candidate will be a key strategic partner and trusted tax advisor, responsible for the preparation of federal and state fiduciary income tax returns for charitable trusts. This role demands a high level of technical tax expertise, client relationship management, and the ability to deliver timely and accurate tax administration services. The CAM Tax Officer will also be involved in tax planning, and advisory services, and must be adept at research and problem-solving to support charitable trusts and related entities. Applicants for the CAM Tax Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, or business administration, with a CPA or EA preferred. A minimum of three years of direct fiduciary tax experience, particularly in the preparation of returns for charitable trusts, is required. The role involves serving as a trusted tax advisor, providing sophisticated tax planning, and acting as a subject matter expert in fiduciary tax. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner, have excellent analytical and communication skills, and be proficient in various tax software products. Experience with 1041, 990, and 5227 tax forms is a plus, as is experience with tax application software. The role also includes responsibilities for client relationship management, business development, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
