Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide trusted, practical advice across commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, privacy, consumer protection, and corporate matters. The role involves drafting and negotiating agreements, advising on procurement and strategic projects, and reviewing marketing and digital content for legal compliance. The successful candidate will partner with senior stakeholders and colleagues across legal, procurement, risk, and compliance, while identifying ways to improve legal processes and mentoring junior team members. Applicants should have at least eight years of post-admission experience in a law firm or senior in-house role, strong commercial contracting and regulatory compliance skills, and detailed knowledge of Australian Consumer Law and the Privacy Act. An Australian practising certificate and experience advising on corporations or financial services regulation are required. Strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to work autonomously are essential. Experience with technology procurement, incident management, consumer credit, or energy regulation would be advantageous.
