Interim Head of Programme

The Company is seeking a Head of Programme to lead its field programme portfolio and team, ensuring effective delivery of food assistance and related activities. Responsibilities include translating organizational policies into field strategies; overseeing food distribution, cash and voucher assistance, nutrition, school feeding, and resilience initiatives; and supporting operational planning, monitoring, and emergency preparedness. The role also involves coordinating with government counterparts, partner organizations, and other humanitarian agencies, managing partner agreements and supply needs, and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. The Head of Programme will also strengthen staff and partner capacity and support evidence-based programme design and implementation. Candidates should have at least five years of progressively responsible postgraduate experience in humanitarian or development work, such as food security, nutrition, social protection, emergency assistance, or project management. Relevant skills include programme-cycle experience across assessment, design, monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and information management, as well as field operations experience and the ability to lead a mid-sized or large team. Experience in emergency or challenging field settings and in negotiations with government or partner organizations is an asset. Fluency in written and spoken French and English is required.
