The Company is seeking a VP - IFRS 9 Finance Lead to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) results for all Wholesale and Retail sites. This role demands a professional with a strong background in finance and risk, particularly in the financial services domain, with a focus on IFRS 9, PD, LGD, EAD, and other related concepts. The VP will own the end-to-end IFRS 9 ECL process, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, support IFRS 9 requirements, and manage a high-performing team. Additionally, the role involves engaging in strategic IFRS 9 initiatives, managing change impacts, and acting as a trusted partner to ensure the successful delivery of IFRS 9 transformation. To be successful in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in the financial services sector, a deep understanding of credit risk, regulatory and accounting concepts, and strong technical knowledge of IFRS 9. The role requires the ability to communicate complex information effectively, manage a dynamic environment, and lead a team through frequent changes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving innovation, a strong understanding of data management, and the ability to influence and lead across the organization.
