The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for PC Central Controls with a focus on the financial aspects of trading activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reconciliation of daily profit and loss figures, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the trading book, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves providing insights into trading performance, supporting the identification and mitigation of trading risks, and preparing and submitting regulatory reports. The AVP will also be expected to communicate complex financial information effectively, collaborate across functions, and lead a team or contribute as an individual with a strong set of professional and leadership skills. Applicants for this role at the company should have a background in product control within an investment banking environment, with a deep understanding of financial products, markets, and associated governance controls. The role requires excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and influence decision-making. A CFA, Master's in Finance, or Financial Engineering is highly valued, along with a strong awareness of control and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be mature, with the capacity to negotiate through difficult situations, and possess good influencing and negotiation skills. The role demands a professional who can engage in complex data analysis, is adept at influencing stakeholders, and is committed to the values and mindset of the company.
