Associate Vice President, Excess Casualty

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Excess Casualty, for an individual-contributor role handling complex casualty claims, with a focus on excess and umbrella coverage. Responsibilities include drafting coverage letters, resolving claims through mediation, and monitoring cases through trial. The successful candidate will manage claims with minimal oversight and preferably handle them from initial review through resolution. The role also offers potential to grow into a leadership or supervisory position. Candidates should have at least five years of experience handling complex casualty claims, including substantial excess and umbrella claims experience. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a law degree is preferred. Strong skills in coverage analysis, mediation, and managing litigation through trial are important.
