The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer-in-Residence (CIR) to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this role is a passionate and driven individual with a strong background in the industry they wish to acquire. As a CIR, you will be at the forefront of the business acquisition process, working closely with the investment team, Advisory Board, and interns to identify and secure a company that aligns with the company's values and mission. This is a full-time, two-year commitment, and the successful candidate will be expected to take on the CEO role of the acquired business, leading with vision and purpose, and overseeing its growth and operations. Candidates for the CIR position should have a minimum of 5 years' of operating experience in their target thesis area, with a proven track record of P&L ownership and team leadership. The role requires a natural leader with a deep sense of integrity, strong personal ethics, and a passion for learning and self-improvement. The ideal candidate will have a history of measurable career success and be aligned with the company's focus on outsourced B2B services that provide a mission-critical service with recurring revenue. Key responsibilities include crafting investment theses, building a pipeline of opportunities, and fostering relationships with prospective sellers and industry leaders. After the acquisition, the CIR will be responsible for developing the company's long-term mission, strategic vision, and effective value creation strategies, as well as leading the company culture and teams into the next phase of growth.
