Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Cybersecurity Architecture

The Company is seeking a Deputy CISO/Cybersecurity Architect to provide executive leadership in the areas of cybersecurity transformation and enterprise security architecture. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the target-state security design, multi-year roadmap, and leading the development of a scalable, sustainable security program. This role is pivotal in ensuring that security capabilities align with clinical operations, digital initiatives, and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include leading the development and governance of the enterprise cybersecurity architecture, establishing a security operating model, and serving as the technical lead for security initiatives. The Deputy CISO/Cybersecurity Architect will also be the executive decision authority for security architecture, risk tradeoffs, and technical strategy, and will be expected to support executive and board-level communications on security matters. Applicants for the Deputy CISO/Cybersecurity Architect position at the company should have extensive experience in cybersecurity leadership, security architecture, or security transformation roles. Deep knowledge of enterprise security architecture, cloud security, identity and access management, detection and response, and network/endpoint security is essential. The role requires a proven ability to lead large-scale security modernization programs, strong executive communication skills, and the ability to translate business and clinical needs into practical security strategies. Experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments is preferred, as is knowledge of relevant frameworks and regulations such as NIST, HIPAA, and PCI. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams, and relevant security certifications are a plus.
