Senior Vice President, Benefits Strategy & Management
About the Role
Greater Chicago, IL Area (Headquarter location)
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Benefits Strategy and Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the benefits group captive strategy, with a focus on driving growth, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. This role requires a strategic leader who can identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities, lead the development of new benefits and ancillary products, and pursue merger and acquisition opportunities to expand the benefits portfolio. The SVP will also be the executive lead on captive accounts, ensuring exceptional client service and retention, and will oversee the Benefits P&L, captive renewal strategies, and population health risk management initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 7 years' of health and benefits or related experience, and significant experience in the medical stop loss, self-funding, or benefits consulting industry. Technical stop loss and captive sales experience, as well as a proven track record in benefits strategy, captive management, and driving revenue growth, are essential. The role requires expertise in client relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, and a thorough knowledge of insurance regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience with mergers and acquisitions, and medical stop loss captive experience is desirable. The SVP will be expected to lead and inspire high-performing teams, and a willingness to travel is necessary.
