Vice President, Construction Greater Chicago, IL Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead project management services across national and global client portfolios. Responsibilities include developing project delivery strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing projects from planning through completion while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met. The role leads and develops a geographically dispersed team, manages vendor and consultant performance, and serves as a trusted advisor to client executives. It also includes overseeing account financial performance and capital plans, managing risk, improving delivery practices, and supporting business development and new client pursuits. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management, along with at least 10 years of experience leading real estate project management. Required qualifications include knowledge of architectural drawings and construction methods; experience managing project budgets, schedules, and change orders; and strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Applicants should also have experience supervising and developing staff, plus working knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and capital planning. An advanced degree, relevant professional certifications, contract management experience, and familiarity with project management software are preferred.
