Vice President of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to lead accounting operations across multiple business entities and partner with executive leadership. Responsibilities include overseeing the general ledger, financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, payables and receivables, compensation administration, and accounting controls. The role also involves managing and developing an accounting team, overseeing performance and KPI reporting, and supporting investment-related reporting activities. The successful candidate will improve processes and reporting, strengthen systems and controls, and balance strategic leadership with hands-on financial oversight. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive accounting experience. A background in public accounting, ideally at a large firm, is required, along with exposure to financial services, investment management, asset management, or related areas. The role calls for strong leadership and team-development skills, as well as experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and process improvement.
