The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Finance for its College of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the operational, financial, administrative, and strategic activities for the College of Medicine and its associated physician group. This role involves close collaboration with the Dean's Office and UCP leadership, particularly in the areas of finance and operations, and providing support to department business leaders on compensation and budgeting matters. Key responsibilities include managing financial, administrative, and operational activities for specific projects, overseeing provider compensation, budget and variance reporting, and serving as a key liaison with the finance counterparts of the health system. The Executive Director will also be involved in managing funds flow, effort reporting, and leading the Executive Director Finance Committee. Applicants for the Executive Director of Finance position at the company's College of Medicine must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' of relevant work experience, with at least 4 years' in a supervisory role. While not mandatory, an MBA is preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in financial management, particularly in a medical, university, or healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in budget management, financial reporting, and a deep understanding of the financial operations within an academic or healthcare environment. The Executive Director will also be expected to develop and implement policies and procedures to support the financial operations of the College of Medicine and manage a team of business staff.
