Trustee (Board-level role)

The Company is a global environmental action NGO dedicated to creating Circular Living by transforming product and food systems. It has a long history of bringing together various stakeholders to develop practical and economically viable solutions to pressing sustainability challenges. The organization is currently seeking two Trustees to join its Board, with a focus on individuals who can contribute to the governance and strategic direction of the organization. Trustees are expected to ensure that the NGO effectively pursues its purpose, manages resources responsibly, and upholds high standards of accountability. This includes providing oversight of strategy, performance, financial sustainability, and risk, as well as supporting the Executive Team and enhancing the organization's profile and partnerships. The ideal candidates for the Trustee positions at the company will have a background that aligns with its vision and can bring valuable insight, judgment, and a collaborative approach to governance. The organization is particularly interested in individuals with experience as finance professionals within a global charity or not-for-profit, expertise in assurance, governance, and risk management within a global NGO environment, or digital and AI professionals with a track record of driving organizational adoption. Successful Trustees will be expected to demonstrate strategic thinking, integrity, accountability, and the confidence to contribute constructively as part of a diverse and high-performing Board. The role is pivotal in the company's mission to reduce waste, cut carbon emissions, and build more sustainable systems for food, packaging, and textiles, ultimately working towards a world where Circular Living is the norm and everyday goods contribute to both prosperity and sustainability.
