Vice President, Data Product Owner Greater Columbus, OH Area

The Company is seeking a Data Product Owner with a focus on Small Business Deposits. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of data in this domain, ensuring it is sourced, documented, delivered, and used effectively to support business decisions. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, analytics, operations, and risk and control, to enhance data quality and mitigate data risks. The Data Product Owner will also be involved in the modernization of data assets and must be adept at explaining data concepts to various stakeholders. Applicants for the Data Product Owner position should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years' of experience in a data-related role, with a strong background in data management, governance, integration, warehousing, and business intelligence. Hands-on experience with machine learning concepts and familiarity with public cloud data platforms is essential. The role requires the ability to manage multiple workstreams, create process and data flows, and have a working knowledge of agile delivery practices. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as is the ability to build and maintain relationships with data consumers across different functions. A Master's degree, domain knowledge in small business banking, and experience with big data engineering and cloud-based data technologies are preferred qualifications.
