Vice President of Software Engineering

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead multiple engineering organizations and guide the development of enterprise software products and platforms. Responsibilities include setting technical direction, driving major initiatives, and partnering with product, operations, and executive stakeholders to align business and technology priorities. The role will advance platform modernization, cloud capabilities, software quality, delivery performance, and the use of AI-enabled tools and automation. It also involves building high-performing teams, mentoring engineering leaders, and establishing consistent engineering standards and operational practices across distributed teams. Candidates should have at least 15 years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership, including five or more years managing engineering leaders and large technical organizations. Required expertise includes enterprise software scalability, distributed applications, service-oriented architecture, modern software design, and cloud-native environments. Applicants should demonstrate success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, improving engineering effectiveness, and developing senior talent, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience in regulated industries, SaaS, application modernization, customer communications platforms, or AI initiatives is preferred.
