The Company is seeking a VP of Strategic Finance to lead the development and implementation of an AI-forward, bottoms-up forecasting process. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of AI-enabled forecasting, reporting, and analysis within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and owning the forecasting process across various business units, ensuring its accuracy, and establishing governance for AI-generated outputs. Additionally, the VP will lead in-depth cost-benefit analyses on large technology projects, with a focus on balance sheet forecasting and compliance with key liquidity ratios and regulatory calculations. This hands-on leadership position requires a strong background in accounting and treasury, as well as experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry. Candidates for the VP of Strategic Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree or MBA being a plus. A CPA or CFA designation is also a plus. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years' of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced finance or accounting role, with a proven track record in AI forecasting and a strong understanding of the three-statement model. Leadership abilities, a strong work ethic, and the ability to drive change are essential. The role demands a fast learner with excellent communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.
