Executive Director, Future Leadership

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and guide its next phase of development. Reporting to the Board, the role involves translating strategic priorities into measurable outcomes, advising on governance and risk, and strengthening advocacy and policy influence. The Executive Director will oversee financial sustainability, organisational capability, team leadership, and the delivery of funded programs and member services. They will also build trusted relationships with school leaders, government stakeholders, and community partners, while representing the needs of diverse metropolitan, regional, and remote communities. Candidates should bring senior executive experience, potentially from education, government, a peak body, a membership organisation, or the not-for-profit sector. The role requires strategic vision, sound judgement, strong financial and commercial acumen, and the ability to lead organisational change and deliver practical results. Cultural capability, humility, and skill in building trusted relationships across diverse communities are essential.
