Head of Manufacturing & Supply Chain

The Company is seeking a Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain to play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership of its medium and long-term manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including production planning, manufacturing, supply chain, industrial and process engineering, materials, and internal logistics. This role demands a leader who can drive overall manufacturing performance, establish a culture of operational discipline, and lead the optimization of manufacturing operations through the implementation of best practices and world-class operating standards. The Head of Manufacturing and Supply Chain will also be tasked with developing and maintaining a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally compliant manufacturing infrastructure, as well as leading change management initiatives and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements. Candidates for this position should be engineers from a reputed institute with a post-graduation qualification, and have at least 25 years' of experience in the manufacturing operations function, with a significant portion in a senior strategic management role. A strong background in discrete manufacturing, core manufacturing processes, and expertise in lean manufacturing or world-class manufacturing systems is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in an environment with a high focus on innovation, be technology-savvy, and have experience in organizations with a strong focus on exports. The role also requires the ability to lead and drive end-to-end supply chain excellence, make strategic buy vs. make decisions, and manage vendor development and assessment.
