This role involves directing a credit analytics team to assess various internal and external data sources, with the aim of optimizing commercial risk assessment and application processing in a digital environment. A deep understanding of statistics, data, modeling, and analytical tools is essential to support the growth and risk management of the assigned portfolios. Key responsibilities include assisting in the development of origination, portfolio, and collection strategies, supporting the optimization of risk-return dynamics, and developing a framework for portfolio risk assessment. The role also requires a strong knowledge of credit policies, industry regulations, and the ability to utilize statistical analysis tools to perform various risk and financial analyses. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in credit risk management, a degree in a relevant field, and a background in quantitative analysis and statistical modeling. Strong programming skills in SAS, SQL, Python, or similar, are preferred, as is prior experience in a regulatory and compliance policy environment. The role demands a proactive, strategic thinker with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
