The Company is seeking a Vice President for Product Control, a key role within the Controllership function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the fair valuation, correct accounting, and prudent disclosure of traded products, as well as leading a team that supports multiple global entities. This leadership position involves close engagement with stakeholders across various regions, including local team leadership and senior management in product control, IT, operations, and change management. The role also requires a focus on BS/P&L reconciliation, journal posting, and B/S substantiation across different asset classes, and the candidate will be expected to demonstrate an expert understanding of market business and processes. Applicants for the Vice President, Product Control role at the company should have a Chartered Accountant or equivalent accounting qualification, an MBA (Finance) from a leading management institution, and at least 15 years' of experience. Strong accounting knowledge, including exposure to IFRS, and experience in managing high-end accounting or finance activities are essential. The role demands excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to influence and manage change. Experience in reconciling and substantiating traded market products, and a background in a multi-cultural work environment, are also required. Desirable qualifications include a professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or FRM, and experience with programming languages and Six Sigma/Lean methodology. The ideal candidate will have a commercial mindset, be adept at driving efficiency, and be comfortable working in a team that operates across multiple shifts.
