The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development and enhancement of its narrative intelligence platform. This platform is designed to understand and learn what persuades individuals on reform issues, with a focus on improving democratic processes and elections. The CTO will be responsible for all technical aspects, including engineering, AI, data, privacy, compliance, infrastructure, and security. The role demands a hands-on approach, technical depth, and the ability to influence and lead organizational strategy. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of building a closed-loop learning system that continuously evolves to connect content creation with engagement data, audience research, and experimental insights. Candidates for the CTO position at the company should have a background in technical leadership, with at least 12 years' experience in engineering, machine learning, AI, or data product roles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering AI or data products that have a real impact. A strong focus on integrity, a builder mentality, and a genuine passion for the mission of democracy reform are essential. The role requires fluency in modern AI tools, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for the creative team. While not mandatory, experience in AI startups, intelligent platform engineering, or related fields is a plus, as is a background in political or ballot-initiative work.
