The Company is seeking an Interim VP of Accounting / Controller to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader, responsible for supporting the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of the company's financial processes. This role is pivotal in the transition period, as the company is in the process of finding a permanent accounting leader. The Interim VP of Accounting / Controller will work closely with the senior finance team, including the CFO, and will be the key finance leader in the Denver office, with a focus on partnering with the CEO, COO, and Chief of Staff. Key responsibilities for the role include getting to know the accounting team, both onshore and offshore, and providing guidance on how to optimize their setup for success. The interim leader will also be involved in reviewing financial reports, evaluating accounting processes across multiple entities, and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Controller, VP of Accounting, or CFO in a company with significant revenue, strong GAAP knowledge, and the ability to clearly communicate financial matters. Experience in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer business, and with multi-entity and post-acquisition integration, particularly in NetSuite, is highly valued. The role requires a leader who can quickly earn the trust of the team, is approachable, and is dedicated to helping the team grow and succeed.
