Greater Denver, CO Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Philanthropy to lead its comprehensive fundraising program and drive the growth of philanthropic revenue and impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a multiyear fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and supports its long-term growth. This role involves overseeing various revenue streams, including individual giving, major gifts, foundation grants, and corporate partnerships, and requires a proven track record in securing significant gifts and building strong donor relationships. The Vice President will also be tasked with leading a team, setting clear performance expectations, and ensuring that fundraising efforts are connected to the Foundation's programs and the needs of the community it serves. Candidates for the Vice President, Philanthropy position at the company should have at least 10 years' experience in nonprofit development, with a focus on major gifts, and a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. The role demands a leader with strong financial and analytical skills, the ability to manage a budget, and experience with CRM systems. The ideal candidate will have a leadership style marked by integrity, accountability, and a deep respect for the community the Foundation serves. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively with an Executive Director, senior colleagues, and Board members. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and the role may involve domestic travel of up to 20%.
