Chief of Product Industrialisation

The Company is seeking a Chief of Product Industrialisation to lead the design, development, and industrialisation of production systems for new and evolving products. The role translates product definitions, programme requirements, and demand into integrated industrial solutions, covering manufacturing processes, production-system architecture, factory design, simulation, automation, material flow, and investment. Responsibilities include developing safe, scalable production systems; leading factory layouts and technology integration; and using modelling and simulation to validate capacity, resources, and investment decisions. The successful candidate will also shape product design to reduce manufacturing complexity and build consistent industrial engineering methods and capabilities. Applicants should be professionally qualified as an engineer, metallurgist, or chemist, with at least a UK BEng degree or equivalent. They should bring deep expertise in industrial engineering and production-system design, supported by experience in factory design, manufacturing systems, capacity and flow analysis, simulation, automation, and major industrial investment. The role requires the ability to connect product architecture, manufacturing processes, factory operations, and manufacturing economics to inform enterprise-level decisions. Experience in complex, highly regulated manufacturing environments and a strong understanding of high-rate production principles are also required.
