Key responsibilities include breaking down strategic plans into tasks, assigning ownership, and ensuring their execution, as well as running the PMO layer for progress tracking and governance. The role demands a strong background in project and program management, the ability to influence and lead without direct authority, and excellent communication and analytical skills.
