Fractional Head of Site Deployment & Construction, Mobile Infrastructure

The Company is seeking a Head of Site Deployment & Construction to lead mobile infrastructure projects from planning through completion. Responsibilities include managing the regional rollout of new, expanded, and modernized telecommunications sites, while ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, cost, and delivery targets. The role oversees resource planning, external construction and planning partners, risk management, and continuous improvement of deployment processes. It also involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and providing regular progress reporting to senior leadership. Candidates should have a degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a comparable qualification, along with substantial leadership experience in tower construction or mobile communications infrastructure. Practical experience delivering new telecommunications sites and managing large construction or rollout programs is required. The role also calls for experience leading large or decentralized teams, managing external partners, and overseeing budgets, resources, and capacity. Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills, as well as fluency in German and English, are essential.
