Vice President of Technology & AI Greater Grand Rapids, MI Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Technology & AI to lead enterprise technology strategy and responsibly integrate AI across business functions. The role includes identifying and scaling high-value AI initiatives, establishing governance and data foundations, and guiding organization-wide adoption and change. The successful candidate will oversee distributed IT teams and property-wide systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity, and technology transitions. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets and vendors, measuring investment outcomes, and advising executive leaders and stakeholders. Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, computer science, data science, business administration, or a related field, along with 10 or more years of progressive IT leadership experience. Demonstrated success leading AI, data, automation, or digital transformation initiatives from strategy through measurable adoption is required. Strong knowledge of AI capabilities and governance, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, data architecture, enterprise applications, and hospitality systems is important. The role also calls for excellent leadership, communication, change management, analytical, and vendor-management skills, as well as familiarity with data security and compliance standards. AI, cloud, or cybersecurity certifications are an advantage.
