This role requires a proactive approach to managing a portfolio of clients, deepening existing relationships, and expanding the customer base through new initiatives. The VP, China Desk Manager will also act as an ambassador to enhance the company's visibility and will be the first line of defense against financial crime risk. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate banking, with a proven track record in a client-focused environment. The role demands a client-oriented professional with excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in the TMT, T&G, renewable energy, and EV sectors is advantageous. The ideal candidate will be motivated, positive, and eager to learn, with the ability to manage a complex portfolio and deliver creative, flexible customer solutions. A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is required, and the candidate must be fluent in English and Mandarin, with Cantonese being a plus.
