Associate Vice President, Payment Operations, Clearing Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking a Process Management Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring clearing operations, ensuring timely processing and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves supervising various processes such as signature verification, exception handling, data entry, balancing, and reconciliation activities. The Specialist will also be involved in validating and generating clearing-related data files, as well as monitoring daily transactions to maintain operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role includes investigating and resolving operational issues, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting process improvements and system implementation projects. Applicants for this role at The Company should have a degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory capacity. A solid knowledge of cheque clearing, payment operations, and operational risk controls is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders. Experience with process mapping tools and techniques, such as Lean or Six Sigma, is also required. The role is suited to individuals who are process improvement experts, capable of analyzing complex workflows, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing effective solutions.
