Executive Director, Front Management Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Front Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening risk management governance in the first line of defense, ensuring the supervision of day-to-day business conduct and activities of the Front Office in compliance with internal directives, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role involves close collaboration with the Front Office to enhance operational risk processes, foster compliant business activities, and guide risk-informed decision-making. The Executive Director will also provide guidance on internal directives, compliance, and regulatory matters, conduct business and control reviews, and ensure the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in business management, business risk management, compliance, or other first-line of defense functions within private banking or wealth management. A strong understanding of Front Office activities, products, client servicing, and related operational, conduct, and regulatory risks is essential. The role requires hands-on experience in advising on internal policies and external regulatory requirements, as well as a proven track record in conducting risk and control reviews, driving remediation, and managing audit or regulatory findings. Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills in English and Mandarin are also necessary for this position.
