Head of Air Freight Procurement

The Company is seeking a Head of Air Freight Procurement to define and execute the strategic direction of air freight procurement, carrier management, and product solutions on a global scale. The successful candidate will be responsible for formulating and implementing long-term global air freight procurement strategies that align with corporate growth, profitability, and market expansion objectives. This executive will lead the global procurement strategy, optimize network capacity, manage carrier relationships, and standardize commercial solutions to drive corporate growth and market share. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strategic executive relationships with global airlines, overseeing high-value tender/RFQ solution design, and driving strategic business transformation initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 12-15 years of progressive leadership experience in air freight logistics, procurement, or trade management with a global or multi-country scope. The role requires a proven track record in carrier strategy, volume negotiations, pricing desk governance, and complex tender management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead direct teams, influence senior cross-functional stakeholders, and drive the adoption of enterprise digital platforms and modern technology tools. Standardizing service offerings, vendor frameworks, and quality guidelines to ensure consistent operational execution across worldwide business units is also a key aspect of the position.
