Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead a small legal team and support compliance across international operations in common law jurisdictions. Responsibilities include reviewing commercial contracts and internal policies, managing external counsel and litigation budgets, and liaising with government and regulatory bodies on cross-border compliance. The role also oversees corporate governance and company secretarial matters, helping ensure legal requirements are reflected in the organization’s practices. Candidates should hold a legal qualification from a common law jurisdiction and have 6–10 years of post-qualification experience, gained at a leading law firm and in-house at a technology platform. A degree from a highly regarded university is required; fintech or cryptocurrency experience is advantageous. Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential, while Cantonese is an asset. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are also required.
