The Company is in search of a Vice President, Technical Developer with a focus on Swaps Trading Applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and support of the Global Equity Swaps System, with a specific emphasis on Synthetic Prime, Portfolio Swaps, and Total Return Swaps. This role requires a blend of hands-on engineering leadership and deep domain expertise, including architecting and implementing scalable, low-latency trading systems, leading technical design and re-platforming efforts, and ensuring robust trade processing and lifecycle event handling. The Technical Developer will work closely with front-office stakeholders in a fast-paced trading environment, manage the full SDLC, and coordinate with global teams on integration points. Applicants must have a strong background in Swaps Trading across multiple regions, a degree in computer science or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience in capital markets, preferably in the Synthetic Prime Business. Proficiency in C++/Java/C# programming, particularly in server-side development, is essential, as is experience with low-latency, multi-threading, and real-time systems. The role also requires a strong understanding of scalable, microservices architecture, and experience with cloud platforms and containerization is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be a highly motivated self-starter, and have the ability to deliver under tight deadlines in high-pressure conditions.
