About the Role
Greater Humboldt, Canada Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies to join their academic community. The successful candidate will serve in a central senior leadership role, providing strategic leadership in the development, implementation, assessment, and review of academic programs. This includes oversight of the Academic Master Plan, individualized degree programs, general studies, and coordination of general education and all-university requirements. The role also involves serving as a resource for specialized program accreditation and overseeing university accreditation. The Vice Provost and Dean will be responsible for the personnel and resource management of key academic and student support units, and will be expected to foster a culture of academic excellence, inclusivity, and student success. Applicants for the Vice Provost and Dean position at the company should have an earned doctorate and a minimum of 5 years' of successful administrative experience in higher education. The role requires a collaborative and consultative leadership style, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable academic community. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successful project completion, experience in university or program accreditation, and a strong background in curriculum development and faculty or staff development. The position demands a leader who can manage multiple projects and initiatives, and who is adept at strategic management of personnel, budget, and other resources.
