The Company is seeking a Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Students and Growth to play a pivotal role in leading the strategic agenda for student success, growth, and educational reach. This senior leadership position is focused on driving sustainable growth in student participation, championing an integrated student experience, and advancing equity of access and success for diverse learner communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership across the full student lifecycle, including attraction, recruitment, achievement, and lifelong connection. Collaboration with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic is essential to ensure that the company's educational offerings and delivery channels are responsive to the needs of learners, the community, and the workforce. Applicants for the Deputy Vice-Chancellor role at the company should have a strong background in a complex, learner- or customer-centered organization, with a proven track record in developing and delivering growth strategies across multiple channels and markets. The role requires a leader with a genuine commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, sound commercial and data-informed judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Exceptional communication and influencing skills are also essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of driving the company's 2026 strategy and ensuring that its educational mission is in line with the needs of a diverse and global student population.
