This critical executive leadership role is focused on shaping and driving the AI and data strategy within the Pharma R&D domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and leading the CoE, setting up the necessary service offerings, and ensuring the industrialization of AI capabilities. Key accountabilities include CoE strategy and operationalization, strategic partnership with business teams, and the development of governance and quality standards. The role also involves leading a cross-functional organization of AI experts, fostering an AI-first culture, and influencing C-suite strategy to accelerate drug development and enhance the global probability of success. Candidates for this role should have a proven track record in CoE and service leadership, with the ability to operate a decentralized, practitioner-led CoE. Strategic thought leadership, influence, and domain expertise in Pharma R&D processes and global regulatory standards are essential.
