Assistant Vice President, Operations Greater Jacksonville, FL Area

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for an Operations role. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with mandatory team members to manage and resolve breaks across the processing chain. This includes supporting the lifecycle for voluntary events, such as election eligibility, option set-up, response collection, instruction submission, confirmation tracking, and post-event reconciliation. The role also involves compiling management reports, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement, and performing reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies in client entitlements and transaction data. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, and at least one year of experience as an analyst in the financial services industry. The experience should include identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential corporate risks, as well as preparing management reports and participating in platform modernization, process automation, or digital transportation initiatives. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to identify and resolve problems associated with corporate action processing, including incomplete instructions or data discrepancies. The candidate should also be adept at capturing and providing material updates to security holders and producing electronic dataset reports for prime brokers and inventory trading clients.
