Head of Legal

The Company is seeking a Head of Legal to provide strategic legal leadership and governance across a diversified, multi-jurisdictional business. The role serves as chief legal advisor to senior leadership, overseeing legal risk, corporate governance, statutory compliance, and corporate secretarial matters. Responsibilities include leading negotiations for complex commercial and supply chain agreements, directing mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, and managing litigation, arbitration, regulatory inquiries, and external counsel. The Head of Legal will also lead compliance frameworks covering areas such as workplace safety, trade, labor, anti-bribery, and environmental and social regulations. Candidates should have 12–15 or more years of post-qualification experience, combining top-tier law firm training with substantial in-house leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, heavy machinery, or a diversified corporate environment. Demonstrated expertise in cross-border commercial transactions, supply chain contracts, and multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions is required. The role also calls for experience managing and mentoring an in-house legal team. A bachelor’s degree is required.
