Senior Legal Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and practical legal opinions, as well as risk assessments, to operational departments on a range of commercial, land, and general operational matters. This role also involves the full spectrum of contract management, including the drafting, review, negotiation, and finalization of various legal documents such as sale and purchase agreements, tenancy/lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and corporate contracts. The Senior Legal Counsel will oversee legal documentation and compliance for real estate and land transactions, monitor changes in legislation and industry guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with external stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in areas related to real estate, conveyancing, or corporate law. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in legal practice, particularly in the context of property development and construction. The Senior Legal Counsel will also be involved in dispute resolution, identifying legal risks in development projects, and working towards efficient resolutions that safeguard the company's interests. The position demands a professional with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
