Chief Operating Officer (COO) Greater Lancaster, PA Area

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to provide strategic and operational oversight across its programs and services. The COO will lead program quality, regulatory compliance, performance monitoring, and cross-functional coordination while partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational growth. Responsibilities include strengthening operations and workforce development, supporting budgets and resource allocation, and advancing partnerships, community engagement, advocacy, and grant development. The role also contributes to executive decision-making, risk management, and organizational change. Candidates should bring demonstrated executive leadership and experience overseeing complex programs, operations, and teams. Strong knowledge of nonprofit management, program administration, financial oversight, human resources, and regulatory and contractual compliance is required, along with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. Applicants should have at least 10 years of management experience, including three years in a leadership role.
