The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Reinsurance Reporting and Analytics to play a pivotal role in the financial reporting, advanced analytics, and operational execution of its expanding reinsurance portfolio. The successful candidate will be a key subject matter expert, providing strategic vision and leadership to ensure the accurate settlement, reconciliation, and optimization of complex reinsurance transactions. This high-impact position requires a professional who can bridge the gap between various internal teams and external stakeholders, and who is adept at building scalable infrastructure and translating complex data into strategic insights. Key responsibilities for the AVP include leading financial close activities, overseeing reinsurance settlements, integrating general ledger and reporting, and modernizing infrastructure through data automation and advanced analytical frameworks. The role demands a data-driven mindset, a focus on internal controls, and a commitment to team development. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 8 years' of experience in insurance finance, and a strong background in reinsurance and annuity domain expertise. Preferred qualifications include a CPA designation or progress toward an actuarial designation, experience with modern analytics platforms, and exposure to offshore reinsurance structures. The AVP will also be responsible for managing a team, so leadership experience is essential.
