Vice President, Directory Services Engineer

The Company is seeking a Directory Services Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of Directory Services environments, including Active Directory, Azure AD, ADFS, and related technologies. This role demands a professional with a strong background in systems engineering, a proven track record in maintaining high availability and performance, and familiarity with NIST cybersecurity standards. The engineer will be tasked with managing multiple Active Directory forests and domains, executing integrations of new domains, and implementing OIDC/SAML authentication systems. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with IT security teams, developing and executing PowerShell scripts, and managing system licensing to ensure legal and contractual compliance. Applicants for the Directory Services Engineer position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Directory Services administration and engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Active Directory, Azure AD, ADFS, Group Policy, OIDC/SAML, and PKI technologies, as well as experience with Azure DevOps, Splunk, Okta, and PowerShell for system management. Knowledge of ITIL practices, experience in inventory management, and a background in managing system licensing are also required. The role demands excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and Azure DevOps, as well as a proven track record in continuous integration and deployment pipelines, is highly valued.
