Associate Vice President, Senior Accountant

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting activities, including recording journal entries, owning the monthly and annual close for assigned entities, and preparing financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP. The role also involves communicating financial results to management and clients, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, a minimum of 5 years' of progressive accounting experience, and a strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Experience in a family office, trust company, public accounting, or investment/partnership environment is preferred, as is familiarity with alternative investments and K-1 reporting. Applicants for the Associate Vice President, Senior Accountant position at the company should be self-starters with the ability to work independently, possess superior organizational and communication skills, and have the ability to manage and prioritize complex projects. The role requires a high level of integrity, a diligent work ethic, and a professional presentation. The candidate should be team-oriented, highly organized, and have a meticulous attention to detail. A CPA is preferred, but not required, and experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus.
