The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its organization. The successful candidate will have full administrative authority and be responsible for overseeing the operations, including field, care center, veterinarian clinic, and licensing programs and services. This role involves driving the organization's mission, leading change, and modernization efforts, and ensuring the humane treatment of sheltered animals. The Executive Director will also be the primary liaison with the public, the Board of Commissioners, and various stakeholders, and will be expected to manage resources, people, and the budget effectively. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be committed to the mission of providing high-quality animal care and control. The role requires a leader with a strong background in management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle controversial situations with diplomacy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, problem-solving, and staff development. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least ten years of management experience are required, with a preference for those with a background in animal care or related areas. The Executive Director will be expected to work closely with the Board of Commissioners, staff, and the community to ensure the organization's goals are met and to promote responsible pet ownership.
