About the Role
Greater Los Angeles, CA Area
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its flagship Ronald McDonald House in Los Angeles. This visionary leader will be responsible for the overall management and administration of the House, ensuring the delivery of outstanding, family-centered programs and services. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Trustees to provide leadership in program management, budget and fiscal oversight, resource development, and general non-profit business operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining official records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and prioritizing the safety and well-being of the families served. The Executive Director will also be the primary ambassador for the House, representing it with various stakeholders and cultivating relationships to advance the mission. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a strong commitment to the mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. The role requires a leader with a positive attitude, a team-based approach, and exceptional strategic, organizational, and financial management skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, experience in leading development initiatives, and the ability to build strategic partnerships. A Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years' of senior leadership experience are required, with a preference for candidates who have a background in nonprofit fundraising and a familiarity with the philanthropic landscape of Los Angeles. The Executive Director will be expected to inspire trust, build collaboration, and ensure that the House continues to be a place of comfort, hope, and healing for families in need.
