About the Role
Greater Los Angeles, CA Area
The Company is in search of a Head of Human Resources to take on a pivotal role in leading the people strategy and operations. This hands-on position is focused on all HR functions within the organization, including strategic and operational leadership to support corporate, property operations, and project-based teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading HR strategy, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development initiatives. Additionally, the role involves partnering with leadership on workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, and culture, as well as developing and implementing HR policies, SOPs, KPIs, and performance management processes. To excel in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive HR experience, with a background in real estate development, property management, construction, engineering, or a related project-based environment. Strong knowledge of California employment law, employee relations, and performance management is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building scalable HR programs, processes, and systems in a growing organization, and experience in overseeing recruitment efforts across various levels. The role requires a professional who can effectively partner with senior leadership while remaining hands-on in day-to-day HR operations. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
