The Company is seeking a Vice President, Portfolio Manager for Commercial Real Estate. The successful candidate will be a key member of the commercial real estate group, working closely with relationship managers to provide well-structured loan solutions for commercial real estate customers. This role involves preparing credit proposals, monitoring the performance of an assigned portfolio, and ensuring compliance with credit-granting principles and bank policies. The VP, Portfolio Manager will also be responsible for credit assessment, risk management, and actively managing the portfolio to maximize returns and credit quality. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, completion of a major corporate credit training program, and at least 7 years of underwriting and portfolio management experience, preferably in a commercial real estate lending environment. The role requires in-depth knowledge of commercial banking products, loan structuring, and commercial real estate underwriting principles. Experience with institutional real estate investors and a strong understanding of financial analysis, market risk assessment, and deal structuring across various property types are essential. The ideal candidate will have highly developed communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals. Proficiency in MS Office is required, and the ability to coach and mentor junior team members is a plus.
