The Company is seeking a VP for Fund Accounting in Private Assets, with a focus on Tactical Operations and Automation. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for driving the tactical operations and automation agenda. This role involves partnering with various teams to identify and align solutions with business objectives, owning the governance and prioritization of process-improvement and automation initiatives, and leading senior-level stakeholder forums. The VP will also set the direction for the standardization and optimization of fund accounting processes, oversee the design and implementation of automated workflows, and ensure the delivery of practical solutions that enhance operational effectiveness. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a CPA or equivalent designation preferred, and at least 5 years' experience in transformation, process improvement, automation, or operational leadership within financial services or fund administration. Strong knowledge of private equity or private assets fund accounting, operational processes, and control frameworks is essential. The role requires the ability to influence senior stakeholders, translate business needs into executable plans, and lead a team with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with advanced Excel, FIS Investran, or other workflow-automation tools is desirable. The ideal candidate will be an effective people leader with strong communication, facilitation, negotiation, and change-management skills.
